Anyone with a trailer! (New product to lock trailers from the inside - rv)

I saw the thing in person...it is really quite impressive. If you have ever had a trailer with anything of value in it....you know the risk. And insurance won't cover it.

What can you say. Take a $200 problem to aircraft engineers and they over engineer it by a grand. Clever though but I couldn't sell it.

OK, so my trailer has 3 doors:
1 rear ramp
1 side door
1 driver's side escape door
So that would be $1300 + $700 + $700 + $installation/tax/shipping.....say $3000
I'm just having trouble with this one I guess.

Good question, I was just posting FYI. Seriously you should contact them to get your question answered. From what I saw, it would be 1000 + 600. I don't know what a drivers side escape door is. Does it open like a swing or ramp door?

Driver's side escape door makes it MUCH easier to get in/out of a car (especially with a cage) with an enclosed trailer. It swings open like a normal door.
Here's a pic of my trailer's driver side escape door:

Nice trailer...it looks to me as though that door would not need the Lockin security equipment, just the rear and side? Anyway I really don't know sh*t about it, like I said I saw it and thought it was quite a good idea and given the value of how much some folks put in there...the cost would be minimal

IMHO, a door is a door (they all use the same hinges and latches)....of course rear ramps are different.
If somebody really wants your trailer or it's stuff, they will consider a trailer to be basically a rectangular aluminum soft drink can. It is very easy to get inside a trailer with an 18V sawzall, trust me. Once inside, it is fairly simple to disable anything installed for electronic alarms.
However, it does appear to be a well thought out system for 'normal' trailer theft conditions
