I approach DE much like I do Motorcycling...
Dress for the crash, not the "comfort".
Although I would agree with statistics that state "you're more likely to be injured hitting the car or coming out the window", I've personally, first hand been in SEVERAL roll over accidents, as recorded by the state of Virginia and my parents insurance agent (Wonder if they keep records back to the early 80s?)! I was a real ****ty driver as a teenager, which may explain my DE line!![ducking](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/icon107.gif)
Point is that regardless the likelyhood that you will or won't roll over, my belief is that if it can happen, it will happen to me.
Jeff, I've got a DAS sport bar and the GT3RS Recarro seats in my car... You could consider swapping in and out the seats and bar... Bar take less than 2 hours to install and much less than an hour to remove and seats are four 12 point bolts each... Whatever you do, don't think you'll be leaving in any bar, even with the diagonal brace removed. The last thing you want is your children having "casual contact" with the roll bar in a street car accident... Ask me how I know...
