So I actually read that entire other thread. My lord, what a mess. Btw, the red 933 in that video did a 2:33...that's not good at the Glen even for an intermediate driver.

Colin, you crack me up. I love the way you time people.

One another note:

Does this look a little like Adrienne?

After watching the vid I think the worst I could say about DMD's driving there was that he clearly wasn't able to predict that the car in front of him was about to lose it - and then back off to avoid being a part of the crash. The guy was obviously out of shape and off the line when entering that turn. The outcome was very predictable as he had been off the line since the exit of the previous turn.

You see someone that lost at a DE, you back off. Of course you are going to be faster than someone that is screwing the pooch that hard. It not about racing vs DE or manners or any of that junk. It's about self preservation. I'm assuming that DMD cares about his car a little too. You see someone sucking that hard, you don't tuck in as tight as you can behind them.

Whew....glad I got all that out. That thread lock was killing me.

Anyway, on to the important stuff....

You guys are acting like you've never been busy with stuff like that up close and personal. Though I'll admit for me it would be with their mothers a quarter century ago............

Paolo was early a few times at Calabogie - worst of all Temptation (aptly named) where if he were honkin' he would have gone into the wall.

I like the Grid Girl direction ...

More pics ... less yap
