Anyone have any suggestions? Must be trailer friendly.

Thanks

I don't think there was any reason to go there let alone stay over night before the track was built. Someone is going to have to do some pioneering.

Just a tip. Vineland is an "Urban Enterprise Zone" Not good!

Usually not too many four star hotels in "Urban Enterprise Zones"/what town should I try to find a hotel/motel in?

EDIT: Due to some bad press below, I changed all reservations to the Country Inn.

Most of the chain hotels have facilities in Vineland and some in Millville (closer to the track). I have not stayed at any, but decided to make reservations at:

Quality Inn & Suites (NJ004)
1701 North Second Street , Millville, NJ, US, 08332
Phone: (856) 327-3300

The NJMP website has a section for accommodations, with a map showing locations in relation to the track. I wouldn't worry about the "Urban Enterprise Zone" issue. Both towns are relative "out in the middle of nowhere", with economic development efforts underway to replace dieing or dead industries. Ergo the welcoming of NJMP.

The Country Inn in Millville doesn't look bad either. I thinks it all a crap shoot in the beginning.

Rick, on their site they list a few hotels and their proximity to the track. I'm staying in Millville for the Jersey Shore DE and Club race directly following it, but the Country Inn was booked so i'm at the next closest.. I'll try the Country in for the Shattenbaum event..

Here is a direct link. I just booked two days at the Country Inn by Carlson in Millville for the 7/21-22 Shattenbaum event.

See you there Scott! Is Joel coming? Wonder if Sean's car will be ready by then for a shake-out?

Don't think it will be ready. I'm signed up, but thinking I'll cancel and shoot for the Glen with Kojote or Trackmasters the following week. Gary, which hotel did you book for the club race?

I heard good things about the Country Inn in Millville, but I could not get reservations there for several dates when I plan to be on the NJMP tracks, including the Riesentoter advanced day on 9/29. I did reserve it for our DE there on 10/17-19 and the rate was about $80/night.

For the DelVal BMW DE on 8/22-24 the Country Inn was also full, so I reserved the Holiday Inn Express in Vineland. That was $162 for three of the nights and $180 for one night!

The Quality Inn, I am told by a club member who scouted it out, attracts the hourly-rate working women crowd. I don't know that first hand.
