Yes, a 997 GT3 with aftermarket exhaust busted the sound limit. 993 with supercup (fabiani) with cats pass sound. With headers and or removed cats, no.

Actually, you might be okay. I was amazed how quiet your car was at Sebring a couple of weeks ago. I even asked Steve if you had a street GT3 exhaust, the tone was much lower than I would expect from a Cup car.

FWIW, 2 Rennsport 993's were on track (LCMT) last year w/ Supercups, with and without turndowns, and both passed sound.
From trackside, I was shocked at how much the turndowns quiet things down. Both sounded great!
