I'm surprised I haven't heard any chatter about this event. I think it was the best event I attended all last year.

I will be there with my father. This was one of the first events he took me to when I started to do drivers education. Now I get to return the favor. Stop by and visit us, car number 524.

There are also a couple of Canadian gals making the trip. But, unlike Crazy Canuck and his band of merry men, it won't be our first trip. It'll be my 5th (I think) and I don't know how many Marci has made... 10? 12? It's one of those "annual" treks. My son and his girlfriend will be attending, as will another near-and-dear to me, RedlineMan. Look forward to seeing old friends, meeting new friends, sharing food and drink, and perhaps telling a small lie or two. ...and praying that it isn't 10,000 degrees!
