If you're looking to move to a well prepped '88 951S, I'm sure we can work something out...

Thanks, but I prefer to battle with the men.

Actually, if I had the money it would be tempting, but part of the draw about racing for me is adjusting the car to make it work better and you can't do that with the cups.

I dunno - Larry is doing awefully well where he is. Witnessed last weekend's MO drive.

Seriously, finishing in the top 6 at a big C1 race is tough!

That is exactly why GtC 1 is so hard It's Not the Car. Charlie's is no better than mine. IT IS THE DRIVER! You have to beat 6 guys that have all won multiple class wins. A quick count I come to 150 class wins in the top 5 guys.

Come to GTC 1 and a win is not a lock. by no Means.

No doubt Bob. I remember well our days in F troop. That was probably about as close as what you have in GTC1, almost.

What I find to be an interesting part of racing though is that when I got to Mid Ohio on Thursday and drove my car, it was horrible. No grip and no balance. I had to work on the setup and tires to get it to work right. And on a cold and slippery weekend, I got it to work and run with 1/2 second of the class record. Different strokes.

Just Teasing. Yeah it is bad or good as F troop. Charlie had his turn @ LRP, My turn @ W Glen. I lost a little of the Fire there for a While.
