Says they are backordered...

Are they specific to the Cup car? Or would another model/year work?

Oh crap! And Greg has alot of connections too. I guess parts for a pre-facelift 996Cup are hard to come by as quickly now that the facelift 996 and 997Cups are in full swing.

Isn't that just a standard part common to all G50 trans? If so, I'd just upgrade to the aftermarket bushing style that is much more robust than the needle bearing stock design.

The 99 Cup has the very strong 993 GT2 gearbox in it so usually 993 gearbox bits work fine, also Geoffrey is correct in that You want to move away from the needle bearing bits...

There might be an issue with using specific parts and staying compliant to GTC though.

Talke to Todd. He says that they are all needle bearings and any dealer should have the parts.

What aftermarket place has the bushings? I'm a 930 guy, so my Cup car knowledge is limited...

Thanks Larrry. Chris is in Oregon and I'm trying to get ahold of him now to give him this info. Hopefully he can get the parts in and installed before the DE this weekend at VIR!
