My install is totally removable without a trace. Two loops of Velcro "strap" (male on one side, female on the other) around the center arm rest storage area cover. Wires looped up and stored under the cover in the storage area. Same concept with the display. Go to track, spend 5 minutes installing everything, 5 minutes removing at the end of the day.

I mounted the sensor unit on the tunnel hump just behind the seat with the supplied velcro. No Problemo.
For the display unit I mounted in on an aluminum plate cut to fit where the heater controls used to be.
Obviously it is a dedicated track car.

Jeff
While mine is a different model the mount is rather stout. I made a alum. bracket to mount to the bulkhead and a CF pannel to replace all the factory bits. The flip top switches are for: oil, tacks, and smoke

In my 944, I have the GPS antenna inside on the back shelf under the rear window. Used to have the sensor unit mounted on top of the tunnel between the seats. Now that I have redone the entire interior and have no passenger seat, I am running it on the front passenger floor right next to the tunnel. Keeps the wiring to a minimum as my display is mounted on the dash and the RPM and power wires come in through the firewall at the right front.
