It's only a 1/2 day and expensive, but with the CR the following week I want to get some more time in. Don't recognize many names on the roster, anyone here going?

i will be heading up there saturday morning from NYC....i have never run with PDA before. are they just running 2 groups saturday? i dont believe the schedule for the day has been posted besides what time the drivers meeting and tech inspections are.

I know very little about them, my 1st time with them also. I was lured in by someone and then he canceled on me so I now know 0 people on the list. I'm going to look around for some info, schedule, etc., if I find anything i'll post it.

1. Track gates will be open from 7 am.
2. Registration & Tech Inspection will begin at 10:00 am.
Mandatory Driver’s Meeting at 12 noon at base of timing tower.
Speed limits and directional signs in the paddock should be strictly observed.
3. Proceed to registration first in the timing tower (second floor) . If you have a completed Tech Inspection Sheet please bring it to registration. Cars should be empty of all personal belongings and loose items before proceeding to tech inspection.
4. Any payments being made at the track should be in cash.
5. Helmets must have SA-2000 or newer rating. ALL Helmets must be brought to Registration to receive 2008 inspection sticker if it has not already been inspected.
A limited number of loaner helmets will be available for $20 per day. A deposit of $150 (cash or credit card) will also be required.
6. Numbers are required on all cars- we will be selling adhesive numbers for $1 each
7. Cars must pass a noise level check by track mgmt. Max level is 89db and is strictly enforced by Limerock management. NO Pets allowed per track management.
8. Drivers should wear long pants, long sleeved shirts and rubber soled shoes. No shorts or sandals for drivers.
9. Please be prepared for changing weather conditions; sun, rain, cold, wind, etc.
Pop up tents or canopies, chairs, sunscreen, sunglasses and raingear are recommended.
Cars must be emptied of all personal possessions so a plastic container or large duffle bag to hold everything is a good idea. Please remove non-essential items from vehicle before arriving at the track. Glove boxes and consoles should be empty.
12. A Food Concession and the Track store will be open. Picnic lunches are permitted.
13. Events run rain or shine. Please review our cancellation policy on our website. In the event of bad weather (snow) cancellation, we will post it on our web site as soon as we are notified by the track management. We will also contact all registrants via email.

TRACK WRAP is available- $25 per roll
Protect your car’s paint from chips and nicks
We will have a supply available at the track
Also- Motul 600 brake fluid $15.00 per bottle
PDA /NASA Hats, shirts, sweatshirts and jackets will
be available in registration office

$270.. pretty steep for 4 hours but WTH, I wanted to meet the head of NASA NE to discuss some stuff anyway.. and he will be there.

Do I need a nasa license? Or can i just register and show up with the car? also, who wants to rent me a trailer for the weekend?

It's a PDA event, co-hosted by NASA. Go to www.pdadrivingschool.com and check it out, I think all I had to do was register but to be honest I don't remember. I do have a NASA membership too.. Be great to get you up there Fred, and have someone to run with.

Call Dan Jacobs, maybe he will let you borrow his or know of one. There is always U-Haul in a pinch..

Send an email to the pda guys, they always have people who drop out. I may also drop out... depending on work, if I do then you can have my spot. I'll know tomorrow if I can do it.

Doug - where is that posted? I also have no idea what "color" I am, never ran with them before. I'm assuming Red as i'm not an instructor.

Gary, make sure you update your profile on their site with your experience level. That drives the run groups. Call them before you get to the track if you haven't updated your profile before now. You'll end up in a low group if you don't and you definitely don't want to be in a low group with them.
