24' or 28'? ATC or Featherlite?

I remember you posting that back when this happened to me last year. I thought it was great that the company stood behind their product well enough to do that. I know they should and all. . . but some don't.
By the way. If anyone really wants a good deal on a 24' that very same trailer they took back from me to build the second one is STILL for sale on their site! It has been right at a year since that happened. I don't know how willing they are to work with someone but surely they want to move this product!!!!!

Try this. If it does not work it is on ATC's website. "See our inventory" on their homepage and my old trailer is about 3/4 way down. A 2007 model. Gray ext., carpet on walls, cabinets, etc. Stock # 168439ATC

That seems like the normal price, doesn't it?

Yeah, if you don't need to have a shell for general truck use. Obviously, in my case it wasn't an option as I got the couldn't-pass-it-up price on the (near) mother of all tags, and the rule of the tow is "nice and slow". And with fuel prices the way they are, 9.5 mpg is bad enough.......

I was pricing 32' featherlite gooseneck which they refer to as a 24' because Featherlite is the only one (that I know anyway) that calls them by the floor length, not the overall length.
Anyway, the 24' gooseneck (32' overall) was about $22.5K with the only options being a 42" side door and 6' extended ramps and a basic 24' bumper pull is under $13K (with no options). Is the gooseneck worth that much more? And will it be as easy to sell later if I wanted to get rid of it? (Seems like bumper pulls are more common).
Would I be just as good getting a PACE Shadow or are they not built as well as a featherlite? And I would guess a steel Pace will not hold its value as well as a aluminum Featherlite?
Which would be better on fuel economy - a Featherlite bumper pull with the slight cone nose (not the full long cone one) or a Featherlite gooseneck? The gooseneck is heavier right?

I am in process getting a 32' ATC goose (24' on floor). My reason for wanting a goose is that I can have a smaller trailer, yet still put a bed up in the goose section for staying at the track. When you optin them out, the prices climbs quickly...of course I am talking about getting things like a sink, built in generator, and sat TV

Get the 28' ATC. I have it and it's perfect. Car, 4 wheeler, etc. Go to Pitpal.com and but some storage stuff to help you make use of the wall space (jack storage, fuel bottles, tires, etc.) . The only thing I would do differently is get the in-floor storage option. You can put a spare there or other junk and it's basically found space.

I am also looking at gooseneck/5th wheel trailers. Is your 5th wheel trailer 32' overall (and about 24' on the floor) or 32' on the floor and 40' overall?
