Bill, you've got too many cars being built! What happened to the monster 914?

So a 2.7 is a deal breaker? It's got to be a 2.5?

Yep, that's the spec. Idea was to keep it to the cheapest donor car & that's the 2.5.

Hi Eric,

I still have the 914-6 aka...."The Beast(TM)"

I was driving her at Laguna and Sears in February.

Here's a couple of pics....914's...precursors to Boxsters!

Hahaha, yes, it's true! But I like the 'chickster' reference. BTW, it's only $35k when you have someone build it for you. If you do it yourself, knock about 10k off that.

My build from Essa was half of that. I provided the seat and Momo wheel & hub. I think Kenny was including the donor car....

All you spec boxster guys have us 944 spec guys to thank for starting this little Porsche spec trend.

Spec boxster got off the ground in POC once they saw all the fun the 944 guys were having.

How come 2 used POC boxster spec cars are both for sale for $40k right now if they are so cheap to build?

The only one I know FS is a stunning 35k mile car with lots of goodies. He has over $40k into the car. I should add that I also added more to my car after the initial build. Costly things like a AIM Pixta dash, second seat and harness, cool suit w/wiring & switch, camera w/mount, wiring, & swit, ch, graphics, radio harness w/antannea & push button, seconds set of rimsetc. It all adds up quickly. I'm pretty sure I'm at $40k though I don't want to know...
