Got a total of three laps in last Thursday evening at a club day event due to a yet undiagnosed problem that cause the engine to shudder pretty bad under acceleration. Hopefully, we will get that fixed and be ready to rock by later in the week I need to get thru a full weekend soon. I'm hoping this weekend will be the one!

I began an engine swap on my daughter's "Smokin' Hot" Volvo 240 (that did drive 3 days at VIR last May) last Tuesday and finally got her on the road to Ohio for the summer today.

The "Monster" has been sorted and checked out at MSR in Texas, Mid Ohio, and Summit Point last Thursday.
Each session had it's issues, (none large) and all is ready.

The car is fast we just are not sure about the Pilot.

Cannot wait to see you guy's, hope all is well and it appears that we have excellant weather all weekend.

I am trying to lobby to get back to VIR on Sunday but it is not going to be easy. It's my wife's sister and husband. They are coming to see the baby so I am sure they wouldn't even know I was gone! Like I said, I'll take 2 days of 3 over nothing at all.

Shop found a missing bolt on the crank sensor for the ignition which was allowing it to move around

It sucked having to leave Friday morning.

Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend.
