Well it ain't Porsche, but it ain't Nascar either, Donuts/burnouts don't degrade auto sports - at worst they waste a little rubber.

Didn't you see the guys doing donuts at SP last Friday? I did the blueberry muffins instead.

Nice cars. Who was the intended audience? Seemed geared toward the Drift crowd.

This did absolutely nothing for me other than diminishing the Porsche and FBL brands in my mind. I've respected FBL for years and trusted them to set up my 997S. I have a hard time believing that the ownership and management gave consent to have their name (which is their brand) used in the video.

As for safety - I bet that camera man in the middle of the road at the start had to change his shorts - when the Cup started swinging... It doesn't take much for a car to slip a little and take somebody (or bodies) out. We've all seen videos of events like this going bad - just fortunate nothing happened here.

Can we all get back to real Racing and Drivers Education discussion

to the point about doing this at a race track, you could easily set this up at a race. In fact it would be a lot easier to do at a track than on the street.

doughnuts and burnouts aren't my style but from a promo stand point, I like what these guys did.

It's all good. They are cars after all. Fun video.

The Olympics ceremony?..... talk about ***** of steel! Whoa. Might have been easy do to for Mr. Shumacher, but think of the potential downside.

So to the janitor (or whatever it is you do down there in Danbury) that is taking the time out of her day to harass me about it and send me links to personal problems a friend of mine had with his son last year (WTF bearing does THAT have on anything??).. go back to work. I'm sure you need to practice DRIVING CUSTOMERS AWAY as you didn't get it quite down pat at your last employer.
