Default any racing or pca events going on in San Francisco?

Im going to be in San Francisco next thursay to Sat/Sunday then back again the following week in April - anyone know of any decent racing or pca event going on?

I guess I could fly into LA see the club race then head out to San Fran after that. Anyone got a spare car lying around I guess I could drive...

March 28-30 the POC is at Willow Springs, then April 4-6 is the one and only SoCal PCA Club Race at California Speedway.

The Thunderhill event is not PCA. Friday is a Hooked on Driving DE and Saturday/Sunday is an NCRC DE with ARC races (mix of Porsche and other cars). There will be a number of PRC racers there. You might try contacting the NCRC/ARC folk to see if they have a suggestion on a rental. Alternatively, Rich Walton at Jerry Woods (408-369-9607) might have a suggestion.

Not meaning to hijack --

(But) Tom - Does ARC have any classes a 944Spec car would fit in ? I'll do a search but inside knowledge is valuable.

Thanks

The Willow Springs event is POC. Tim Comeau rents out 944 spec cars: http://www.comeauracing.com/

Jerry: As far as I know ARC simply has 4 classes listed as GT1 to 4. The web site gives info on what cars fit into what classes. I have always ignored them and simply gone out to race with whatever car was close in speed.

Jeff Rosen (996 GT3) is running similar times to Tom. He may show up to race.
