It looks like the proposed new track is designed to significantly slow the cars in the areas where the track had not runoff. It will be interesting.

yikes! the entrance to No Name is ruined. The Downhill will be vey slow, too. As much as I don't like Lime Rock, now there is no rhythm to it whatsoever, the one saving grace it featured. I was hoping they'd lengthen it, a lot, but it looks like they're just ruining it so the clubbies don't wreck their "investments".

also notice they have chewed into the current entrance area. consider the toll booths gone and they'll need and entirely new entrance area. you'll still be able to run the old circuit but i have to believe that's huge liability risk for those org's that choose to run it.

only alan wilson could "chicane" such a short track, what an unbelievable joke, thats not a race track thats three chicanes and two corners, so all the moronic ferrari club drivers don't crash their cars I'm pissed way for him to ruin one of my two favorite favorite tracks, so much for flow or anything, that just runined my day grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Downhill is exactly the same, it's west bend that is slower. Now the downhill should be flat out in any car. The left hander will be faster too, but you'll have to slow for the entrance to no name with that little chicane. The uphill looks to just use the normal chicane, with a slightly different contour. The one area I'm not to sure of is the entrance to West Bend...not much runoff there should you overcook it under braking. The rest does not look too bad to me.

wow, that is bad. It reminds me of a golf course that doesn't have enough land to create a good layout/flow so they create a bunch of short tricky holes. They've ruined the entrance to no name, the uphill and west bend.

UGH! Exactly what they said they wanted to accomplish in their press releases.

It looks like the downhill will be slower BECAUSE of the changes to West Bend, where the speeds will likely be much lower due to the tight S like turns there. The uphill will be completely different with the fairly tight right at the end of No Name. The speeds coming onto No Name look like they will be very slow.

WOW! I never really liked LRP, but any flow the track used to offer will now be totally ruined. Very disappointing. Its clearly designed to save inexperienced drivers from themselves. UGH.

What a POS layout
Looks like there is absolutely no rhythm to it at all anymore.

It's clear that Mr. Wilson has never driven LRP before.

They should have kept it the same, repaved the whole thing, and simply added/increased runoff areas.

Bumps and all, I used to love LRP (my favorite track), but now it's ruined.

Seems like they intend to de-fang the old girl. Adios sub-one minute laps. It'll probably add at least 10 seconds to it.

Looks like it will chew up more brakes and tires.
