Amen to that. The prices in town were really high! We ended up with a hotel in Laval at the other end of the subway line but at least we can take the subway to and from the track....

Subway to the track is the way to go.

BTW there is a hotel construction boom in Montreal. Several new places already opened.

For about $5000 you can rent a car in the formula ford race and that comes with a paddock pass (for thurs, fri and sat only). you need a comp. license. i went with a friend who raced last yr - check out the video for paddock footage. great venue. i've been to that grand prix 8x!
