The US sales rep has come up with a different shipping method which lowers the cost to my state to $76.xx.

I ordered one today for $286.xx delivered for a 16 tire storage solution.

John now has inventory in the US with duties payed for bulk shipment as opposed to single item entry. Shipping is now domestic.

I'll report back when I have it in my garage.
