OT: GTR2 site with lots of tracks
I found this site which had some hard to find tracks on it:
North American GP sim racing league
It has almost all my local South Florida tracks: Homestead, Daytona, Sebring (missing Moroso)
And it has VIR.

nogripracing.com didn't have a couple I was looking for (Sebring and Mont Tremblant (St. Jovite)). Like you said Gary, "never have too many track and mod sites".
I still have a long way to go before I can compete. Right now I am using my mouse as the steering wheel.
I know the G25 is the wheel of choice but has anyone used the Fanatec.com wheel. I would buy it just for the Porsche key memory stick.

Be glad to tell you all I know (it isn't much!). I'm running on a dedicated W2K server on a shared 512/8MB cable line but you can run it on just about anything as long as you have the bandwidth to support it. I even have enough parts here to cobble a box together with a PIV 2.4Gz, about 2GB, and a small HD with XP on it if you need one. Just plug a cheapo monitor into it and go. I can even set it up running GT2 Server (it's free) and test it out if you want.

That sounds awesome but I'm completely confused as to what you're talking about. Can we not just run the league through the GTR2 online setup? Are you talking about building a server?
Sorry, I have limited computer knowledge.

I'm pretty sure GTR2 can be run either in dedicated Server mode (like I am running rFactor) or you can siimply host the game and race at the same time on your machine. You don't have to have a dedicated server but I think that it works best that way. All the server does is host all the connections and manage the bandwidth. If you host and race on the same box your CPU has to handle running the sim, the graphics, and handle all the server functions. On the server there is no sim running, just a small comm window that shows what is going on and all the set-up options. Follow me?
