Thanks Cory. You did really well out there! What did you do with the slant nose wide *** SC?

Charlie, that was some great driving. I noticed Chris was having some reference troubles at night. Did you find having him as a marker helped with your closing in on him?

Thanks! Sorry your car seemed to have some problems, not up to your normal speed.

I passed you after the restart by the hotel turn. You came up FAST on a car, and took the inside line under braking, then got a little wide in the turn so I dove under you. Here is my ghettocam video of the restart, a little action later on, and the last lap with some action ahead of me (can you hear sound on it?):

http://www.mikepiera.com/videos/endurorestartandend.mov

Whenever I watch my vidoes I see how many mistakes I made and how slow I was in some corners.

GET ON THE GAS!!!!

My car was terrible coming out of the last turn with the stock shocks, I felt like I was abusing it if I went any faster. Hope I can get closer to Glen in Atlanta. We had a pro driver helping us out and his reference lap was about what Glen got at the end of the enduro (!).

Here is a shot thanks to club goomba

Default Sebring

Thanks Fred,I just delivered the slantnose E (previous F) car to its new owner in Denver today. I have had this 964 for over a year now and it is a blast to drive at big tracks allthough not as tossable as the other car was. I am currently building another prepared car to run in the new E class as well. Hope to see you at Atlanta, Ohio and Watkins later this year.

I should post some video after Chris pulls away a bit to compare the difference following vs. "leading". There is a noticeable difference behind the wheel, but not in lap times, at least not mine. I was faster on my own according to mylaps than following Chris more closely (the laps I posted in the video).

Norm,
Thx much, I understand You will be regearing Your new box to suit the powerband a bit better. Thanks for the awareness out there, I appreciate it very much! Without it, Wayland would have gapped me for sure! Hopefully we will actually meet someday, I will make a special effort next time I see You on a roster.
Best to You and Yours,
G

Glen,

You are more than welcome - beautiful car too.

My new 6 speed gearing was horrible and not fun to drive at all.

The gear splits must have been done with the wrong R&P.

I was having to short shift in the middle of corners off boost and on the straights.

The thing must be geared for 250mph...

Oh well, I still had fun with friends.

I just got to watch a lot of cars zoom by me LOL.

Nice driving again!

See you soon at a track somewhere...

Mike,

Funny I thought you were talking about the enduro.

That was a great pass you made - I was watching for you (even though I did not realize it was YOU driving)...

Thats why I went wide in 3 I thought you would want to go in there LOL

I dont like holding people up when something is not right and you were driving it well too...

Norm
