Look forward to another great year here at home and visiting our friends from other chapters (HCP, HV, NJ, etc.).
Bottom line - they're all great!

What, no Northeast or North Country? I'm a Northeast member but like the NCR events as they are a pretty laid back group with little politics of the other regions. IMO. That said, I have run with a lot of the regions between here and Ohio and have had fun at all events.

CVR, HVR, and HCR are always fun for me. I'll have to try a run up with the Northern groups sometime. I look forward to running with Risentoter and Shattenbaum this year also. I have run a lot with NY Metro and NNJR, and while I always have a good time they are a little overbearing at times, especially if you are from another group and substantially faster than their home-boys.. ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I think more and more of the "cowboys" are going to go to open track events like Trackmasters, Chin, and Kojote this year... I know this CVR cowboy is..

All of the clubs mentioned are great to run with. The smaller clubs tend to be far more flexible with track time. As an instructor, I've enjoyed multiple days with most of the clubs in the NE, including BMW chapters and NASA/PDA.

I was christened to the track by NNJR but all the local regions do a great job...I like Schattembaum as alternative to NNJR....alittle more relaxed as others have stated. Hey Joe(968 firehawk man) its Garry here(PMR) are you going to upper run group day at pocono??

- i've run with 5 different groups in the greater NE region and as a general statement, the farther you get from NYC the more laid back the organization is - as a result it seems more fun is had by all
- also true is that once an organization is created, it generally takes on a life of its own and in general a lot of well meaning people can end up creating something that no one wants individually
- my vote goes to HVR (great combination of good laid back normal people, fun to be on the track with, willing to be flexible when required) + the end of the year open trackday at Watkins Glen was incredible
- from all of the above comments, it sounds like i have to get out to a Schattembaum event

Schattenbaum, we can close the thread now.
