I can tell you that the CanAm Challenge is on very shaky ground this year as the race director and some staff have stepped down from their "volunteer" positions. There is an add in the UCR scouting for recruits to make this event happen. I'd consider it very tentative right now, from what I've heard.

Uh oh, they are loosing Susan? Not only is the track great but Susan has always run a terrific event. I hope it works out this year.
The whole event was Susan's doing. All the extra niceties and special touches were because of who she is, and all they did was give her hell for budget issues and the like. She worked on that event 24/7/365. Good luck trying to resurrect it, as much as I've grown to love the CanAm Challenge.

Wow, that sucks! Even if they pull it off, It won't be the same without her.
Gums, i was looking forward to our 11hr drive back again. Susan is the best! The event is a great event, low key and Mosport is great place to race. It would be a real shame if it didnt happen.
Yes, I've heard that there is now a new chair, so the event looks like it's on. It won't be the same, but let's hope it succeeds all the same. So, Jerseybean, shall we venture north again?
Yeah, because there is no Volvo that's just like a Cadillac. However, think the CanAm is out of the question for me this year, I recall some date conflict anyway.
