Who is here from CDOC?
I see CDOC is a dealer and I want to start working with someone on what I need for my AIM DAS and video equipment. Are there other AIM dealers here (or known to be good) you guys have used?
Thanks

What are your goals and what are you looking for?
I remember you mentioned the DaVid system in another thread.
I would begin to write down what data you want to record. Since you don't have a new car where the system can plug into the ECU and pick up a lot of the info you are limited in what you can record. Depending on the system you go with you have 4-12 channels.
I sent you a PM as well.

I deal w/Mark at CDOC. Very helpful. I get most of my parts from them, so when I get ready to replace, they can advise me what I've used in the past and what's new I may want to try. Plus they give contigency money in races.
PM if you need more details.

I deal with Mark as well and he has become a good friend as well. You won't meet a nicer guy. CDOC even put a little burp about me and my car in the back of the CDOC catalog

The guys that built and engineer our car know the AIM and DaVid system inside-out. You can try them as well: http://www.rrtsuspension.com/index.php

Also for AIM information. Another guru of AIM systems is Roger Caddell.
He's the guy who runs all the AIM data acq. seminars. He also owns Victory Lane Data and his son is a pretty good stick too running the MX-5 cup again this year.

When/where are these Seminars held? Maybe a schedule on AIM's site?
Edit: YEP! Just a little off.. last one was 10/06!

Brian, as you actually have and use it, what's your opinion of the system and the integration aspect of video. Is it as seamless as advertised? I'm going (as it stands) with the MXL Pista, GPS, Brake pressure, Throttle (linear) position, Steering position, oil pressure, oil temp, and the DaVid (of course RPM, gear readout, etc.). Then I just have to hire someone to teach me about what I see!
