FWIW: I run 800/1000 in my 964 with JIC's. It was an adjustment to get used to the springs but much better than 600/800. My car weighed 2450 without me. I have the 993 EVO uprights in the front but retain the 964 suspension in the rear - both front and rear with full mono-*****, etc. It works, but one day I'll switch to Motons.

The car has a fully welded and gusseted cage and BIG sway bars. I feel like the susupension really needs to be stiffer.
Thanks for that additional info as thats very helpful!

Might I suggest that you call me? I can offer some specific recommendations based on what shocks & tires you will run.

John, I just noticed you sold a set of triple adjustable 993 Cup/RSR shocks last year for a good deal. Did you run those on a 993? Why did you sell? How did you acquire those?

Tom, I am thinking about something almost identical. I was going to revalve single adjustable Bilsteins with 800/1000 and run for a couple of seasons. I have mono ***** but no evo uprights in front. Do you think that makes a big difference? What was the big change with the springs? Was the car more twitchy?

I never put those on a car. I bought them thinking I would but ended up selling them instead. I bought them on ebay real cheap because they needed rebuilt. I sold them pretty cheap for the same reason. I just did not get around to doing anything with them basically. Had to get them out of the garage.

Default Moton CS and Heavy Springs

Keep in mind that standard (without revalving) clubsports are only recommended for up to 900# springs.
