I'd say that was ghettoracer but the person was leading the race....

Thats classic... I can remember a few football plays with the player holding the ball in the air on the 5 yard line and getting it slapped out of their hand preventing the touchdown as well. I love it.

reminds me of the F/3000 race at Monaco where the leader slowed to salute his crew and was passed!

Bjorn Werdheim (?) was the F3000 driver at Monaco in 2003. He did go one to win the title that year, but that oversight stuck with him for a long time.

It very well could have been Ghettoboy...for all we know, that car was a lap down and the checkered flag was just pulled out a bit too early.

LOL,

I saw a guy stuff a open wheeled car (FA/FC?) into a dirt burm on the cool down lap once... luckly he was not hurt.
