$1,4560/Year, USAA, $1,000 deductible, very good medical and liability coverage. No tickets, but a very bad motorcycle accident (not my fault) about 8 years ago. Wife was T-Boned last October which totaled her car (not her fault). For comparison, the liability only insurance on my ‘71 Triumph Bonneville is $200/year.

I flipped my non—directional tires, inside/outside, due to camber wear.

I've heard that some flip CV joints to get a little more life out of 'em. Haven't tried it myself.

Hi Folks. This is an informative thread. A couple issues that i've been finding:

- I have a very nice policy with USAA, BUT - it's not an agreed value policy. For a 997.2 this policy will never pay near full value in the unlikely event that something happens to this car.

- Classic car insurers wont write me a policy without me having another 'daily driver'. Since I live in NYC, my daily driver is the subway.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Also - called geico and state farm - they do NOT write agreed-value policies (for NY state at leaast)
