you are totally right Mike. the warm up lap is just that WARM UP. Warm up tires, brakes and driver....not warm up ego

I suspect it's more excitement and eagerness than ego, but still there is no point to being right on someone's tailpipe during warm-up. In the balance, I was thrilled to have the Buckley cars there to run with, so guys please take the comment in a good light. I'll be happy to see you back at TWS ANY time. I'd be happier if I was in one of your cars though! Maybe someday.

We were talked to at length by several instructors about the various things that were happening on the track. It should have calmed down considerably on Sunday.

At one point I was looking for my team leader and kept going to the garages asking any instructor I saw, who and where he was. As soon as they saw my BR shirt I got talked to about one thing or another. It made me not want to go over there anymore.

So, once again, please accept my apologies on behalf of the whole group.

Have not gotten to look over anyone's video since I'm on a marathon 24 hr shift at the airline and we cant get streaming video on the computers here

I chalked it up to exuberance, & yes it did seem better on Sunday. Many of us are out there in very expensive daily drivers, & we're less willing to throw them around & take risks like you might a track car. Just ask the guys to keep that in mind, & please come back to TWS & visit us again!

there is really nothing wrong at all riding up on a car closely on a hot lap ...best to do it coming up on someone you know and know how they drive...don't want them thrpwing brakes on unexpectedly

my issue is how silly it would be to do it on a warm up lap...if anything the only motive is to annoy the other person orshow off to a passenger

again once the clear to go signal comes ...anything goes

we have sent overly aggressive folks home in the past but the BF crew were fine

Can't speak for everyone, but hopefully your sincerity and desire to right any wrongs counts for whole lot.

I couldn't agree more Russell. I just wanted to point it out so things can be better the next time. I'm glad we're having the conversation & the response is exactly right. BR is welcome back any time as far as I'm concerned.

I would always welcome these guys
They have the coolest cars....and they even come off the trailer for more than a couple of laps....if I only had more money...
oh well I pulled the oil tank today after a full day pulling the engine....UGH there was enough metal in the tank to make a grown man cry.. the bearing on #1 was TOTALLY gone and made to look like shredded aluminum can

tomorrow I remove the cam, head and pistons and crank

good thing I am unemplyed huh?

Richard, you romantic fool, you and Lisa really know how to heat it up on Valentine's Day! (Although that crank removal part sounds painful...)

That would probably lead to crank removal sans anesthetic.
