Ray I hope you're right but I've seen a lot of wheel spin watching these cars come out of the turns. Since I haven't actually driven one yet anything I say is purely speculative. It may also be because we have PSS9's with 450/500 Eibach springs and GT3/H&R sway bars. Once I drive both I'll post my take on the differences.....

I'm going to drive my new Spec Boxster with the open diff in 2 weeks for the first.
John,
I'll be very interested in your first impression. Half a dozen of us out this direction are thinking about building them next Winter.

I am not sure what works on a boxster, but on 944 NA you can do alot with set-up to minimize the wheelspin with an open diff. You cannot prevent all of it, but you can set-up the car minimize most of it while still keeping a nicer cornering balnace. An LSD car may stil be faster, but in spec class the key is not so much to be faster, but to ensure the wheelspin does not become a frustration issue for the drivers.

What did you think of the new car? Several of us out here are interested in hearing your thoughts

Jay it rained on 2 consecutive weekends and I still haven't had the opportunity to drive it. It's been very frustrating. Finally we have some good weather, but my first club race of the year iscoming up 2/15 at Las Vegas Motorspeedway. I really need to get some time in my Cup for that race so it won't be this weekend. There's an open test day Feb 22 at Willow Springs. Weather permitting the Boxster and I will be there....
