Default Anyone use the Aeroquip "Staubli" type connector?

Just came by this in CDOC catalog and was wondering if anyone has used them? ....at about $100 less than a Staubli, looks like nice option for hydr clutch.

I am using a Staubli with no issues and wouldn't really consider anything less.

3000psi is enough, but the temp range of -40F to 250F probably wouldn't cut it ... depends where you put the quick disconnect.

I was thinking on the body end of the flex line. This way I could remove a strut all in one lump or just the caliper with the section of hard and flex still conected to it.

With the Tilton what are you using to go from the existing metric line that fed the slave cylinder to the AN fittings on the QD ? I am going to put a Tilton in my Cup and was wondering if there is an easy way to do this. By easy I mean not making up my own hoses. I don't have the Aeroquip crimper that costs 3k.

Huh? I made all of the lines on my Tilton setup with normal hand tools.

My release bearing is as you post, -4 on the pressure and -3 on the bleed.

I should have the same then. I am waiting for the flywheels to come in.

So then is this the right plumbing parts ? I still need to connect to the metric fitting on the car somehow

Andy, I got my TO bearing line from Brian Copans when he build my trans. It was an old one he had laying around. There is some fitting that is going to the -4 (first pic). Also, it's pretty tight inside the trans housing to the TO bearing (2nd pic).

I thought I had something figured out on the car side to go from metric to -4, but don't recall now...

Also, may of the places that sell the lines and crimp fittings will make the lines for your next to nothing (compared to the $3k). Like $10 per end or something like that.

I just removed my engine and trans last night. Here is what my release bearing looks like. Top is the bleed, side is the pressure. The two ends are compression fittings I assembled myself, one with a male end, and the other is a bleed valve end.

The Staubli units are good. If, however, one wants the best -- Parker Stratoflex.
