Default Road Atlanta and Barber - which layouts?

I want to run these tracks in my simulator to give me an idea of layout before going there and would appreciate someone that knows the tracks taking a peek and telling me which version to run.

They are listed here - http://www.altbierbude.de/component/...id,48/lang,en/

Choose United States, the "B" for Barber, etc..
Can someone look and tell me what layout is correct for Road Atlanta, Barber, and Sebring?

Thanks

AFAIK, they only use 1 config of each for typical DE's. Barber uses the Grand Prix config.

Road Atlanta - not the chicane, that's for the bikes.

Yup, the GP at Barber and the first depicted course at Atlanta are the ones you want.

Gary,

What simulator do you add these tracks to from this wesbite? rfactor, GTR2? Or something else?

These are for GT Legends but are easily converted (from what I read) to GTR2..

"How to get a GTL track running in GTR 2.

It is very simple to do, download the track, extract the archive (in this case, Mid Ohio) to the x:\GTR2\Locations folder (this should create a Mid Ohio folder there), find the MidOhio.trk file, open it up with notepad, near the top you will see this text:

MASFile=skies_south.gtl
MASFile=TEAMMAPS.gtl
MASFile=MIDOHIO.gtl
MASFile=MIDOHIOTex.gtl
MASFile=stex.gtl

you will need to edit those lines to this:

MASFile=skies_south.gtr
MASFile=TEAMMAPS2.gtr
MASFile=MIDOHIO.gtr
MASFile=MIDOHIOTex.gtr
MASFile=stex.gtr

save that and close it.
now you need to change the file extensions on the two files that have a .gtl change those to .gtr

Go race at Mid Ohio."

rFactor tracks are already available here ready to go - http://www.rfactorcentral.com/list.cfm?cat=Tracks

That's where things usually start to go bad - I've got as many tracks that don't work as those that do after I've edited files in them. Happens way to often - or else I'm just an idiot ( quite the possibility).

Gary,

the 2nd post is commonly known as the short course or scca club course.

1st attachment is the 24(and 48hr) long course.

-(edit: check that... do you have the safety or hair pin displayed? the current safer config has a 'wiggle' esses after the RT hander in T7) -ie there is a run out with current config, zero run out on the old hairpin config...

there is a 3rd, slightly longer config for the short course, that extends (moves down track the Rt hander after the tower turn (T13).. fwiw. (skippy might use that config)

I just went ahead and did Sebring and Mid Ohio per the instructions and ran 911 RSR's (996's) around. Both worked perfectly.

rFactor is still easier as the tracks are done, but not a biggie. Now we just need 997 Cups for GTR2 (they are in rFactor already).
