I have always heard people say that they go through turns 1 and 2 at Mosport flat-out in a 944. In my mind that means you are at WOT from the exit of 10 until entry of 3. Does anybody think that is possible with a 2500lb+ 944 not running on slicks?? I think you would be almost flying over the crest into 2 if you did that... and I would be sincerly humbled if this is true...
For me? Flat from 1-to-2 and over the hill would be doable, if I had the guts. But... that would NOT include coming through 1 flat as well! Not this bloke!! 1 is not a flat turn for me. In fact, it is the most dangerous turn there, in my opinion. It is the only one that gets me nervy.
