On the first race, random starting positions, I was pole and got punted shortly after the start. Second race I go T1 on the inside and get punted again.
Are these all Rennlist people? I picked up the software for the first time and even knowing the track I qualified 6 seconds off pole. I'm fine with racing people who race out of the Matrix (real life), but if it's people who only know simulations, that really isn't my thing. At that point, why don't we fly spaceships and shoot each other?

The pole time was a mid 25 I think? I forget, cause I somehow set a 24.9 in the race trying to catch M951

Jerry, Poketroket and I (M951) would like to join your league and start getting points too. Limerock points reinstated well that would be icing on the cake .... : )

Some guys are good (unfortunately not me).....some guys are not so good. You takes your chances and hope fir the best. That said JimmiLaw, I watched the playback and must say you have a fair 13/13 shout!!!!!

DanR: I agree this is for fun. Racing in the virtual world is fun, but racing in the real world is AWESOME!
At the end of the day, this matters little but it does bring a smile to your face (when it goes well). Gary R was nice enough to make this happen, so it really his call on the rules for our fun.
I still want to know how Barfly, Velocissmo, and M951 can control their cars so well with so little wing. I try that and cant keep it planted. Whats the secret?
Edit: Thanks Dan for the vindicationi on the Jerry punt. After 10 years if racing, I know a PUNT when I feel one! But there is NO way we should have a 13/13 for this game.

I must say, having met GaryR for the first time today at LRP, he is such a nice guy I would not argue with a word he says!!!
As for car control, clearly I am not great at rfactor but can get round when I drive it like a 'game' and not like a real car. That said, when I try to be smoooooooth I am sure it actually helps me when I get back on the track.
As for real world, I am still buzing from todays DE so can only imagine what a rush real world racing is, my goal is to get enough experience at DE this year to give it a go next year. CVR LRP next April is the goal!!!!
