No, I got rid of that when had the alignment checked, and discovered that the monkey who aligned it gave me lots of toe IN in front, and not a smidgen of toe OUT as it should be. I also discovered other alignment "issues" that may have played a large part in the problems. I also doscovered that the shocks were WAY low on nitrogen. Driving it this weekend, it seemed that the corner balance was also way off. It seemed that the car was "pivoting" on the RF/LR diagonal axis, so I am having a guy I trust check it this week.
Interesting, I thought I remembered noticing toe-out on your front wheels, but I guess not. So much for you Nitrogen presures being set right by XXXXXXXXXX.
No, I am awaiting the cornerbalancing later this week. If it is as far out as it felt, I will tell the shop that did the work about the bad alignment and cornerbalancing.
That would be a good one, wouldn't it! Thankfully, the Dart is long gone. Back in the late 70's though, I used to belong to the Mid-Ohio (I think that was the name) SCCA. I ran my Datsun 510 in SCCA autocross events in Dayton OH. I remember them having some sort of Solo event that was won by one of the club officers driving a Dart (albeit one with an 8 cylindar & God knows what else in it). I don't recall any of the details at all now, but it was hilarious at the time.
