Default Greatest day of my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it is with great excitement that I tell all my great Rennlist family that we just welcomed our little boy into the world yesterday morning (Saturday the 20th).

He was 2.5 weeks early which is unusual for a first child but no biggie as he is considered term. He is very healthy and with great temperament.

Stats:
6lbs 2oz
20 inches
Born Oct 20th at 850am.

Labor was nice and short for my wife. From first contraction to delivery was just under 9 hours! She did fantastic and is doing extremely well and ready to go home. I am at the house right now getting everything done that we planned to do in the next two weeks

Can't wait to get him home and start this journey that many of y'all have told me that will change my life in a joyous way I could never imagine. I already feel an incredible amount of pride and joy. I can't imagine life get's any better than this.......well, maybe breaking 2:00 at VIR

Gotta run, time to get back to the hospital..............

Congrats- my first, a boy, is "only" 24 now... and yes they do grow up fast though I still remember my kid's first ride in the Porsche- strapped in a carseat in the middle of the 914- he enjoyed many a ride in the back seat of various P-cars over the years, and now drives his own Cayman!!

Start saving up for his college-Porsche fund now....

Wow, that is fantastic. I just got back home from bringing my 1st born (son) to the airport for him to return to Villanova. And yet, it seems like just yesterday he was born. Cherish every day you have with him!

By the way, when my son turned 18 this spring, he signed up for DE's and before you know it will catch up with the old man. Nothing like watching your son heel-toe into Big Bend

Cheers!

Congrats! Cherish every moment. They are so little for such a short time. Its hard to believe mine are now 8 and 10. I still can see little "flashes" of their "baby selves" when I check on them at night
Parenting - its the toughest job you'll ever love!
