Are you going to the member days next weekend? I'll finally be there and the car will finally be hooked up. No more stock suspension for me!
momentary brain fade I guess…that’s actually a fellow member and damn good driver (Jeff) at the last member day. I told him later that I was glad he gave me some room because I was getting ready to add a stripe to his car…we laughed it off.

I'm hoping to make next week's member event…I'll know better next week.

New suspension? what did you go with?

Motons, RSR bits here and there, removing all the rubber crap, etc..

...oh I'm sure it was hair ball...I'm just trying to keep my post count growing and have nothing useful to say about the NNJR event.

Had that same thing done to me four years ago at VIR, except the pinch was complete and I had to lift, slide behind the other car somewhat sideways, recover and un-pucker. I followed the driver into the paddock, practicing my best "WTF were you thinking you F$%^& idiot"?. I climbed out of my car with steam coming from my nostrils, as a tall, thin drover climbed from the other Porsche, removed the helmet and long blond hair dropped to her shoulders. She said she was sorry and immediately began to cry, which I believe is unfair paddock behavior!.......and we are still good track friends a few times each season........

Great track, but NNJR is not the group to run with.
I apparently passed the "Knute" without a point by in my second session of the first day. He threw a fit like a whiny, no point giving, slow a$$ Bi..h that he is. How about clearer hand signals buddy?
At the end of the first day there were a handful of instructors side lined thanks to his handling of the event. Totally unreasonable. Very disappointing.

Well I wasn't the only one then. I passed him once on the bridge straight, I made a run on him got up to his quarter panel, and I actually watched him turn his head and look in his left side mirror, and didn't give me a signal. By then I had such a run on him, I just took it.

We pulled in, he stopped me, started spouting off, and I just put it in gear and drove off before I said something I shouldn't....

So glad to hear it wasn't just me...

No you weren't, at least 3 of us from the CVR contingent did it on the first day.

"Side lined", as in not allowed to run any more?

What else could you do?

I see you coming and give you the pass in the Snake, or in Hog Pen, etc., so you don't run over me!

Seriously, if I'm going to bitch when I'm held up, I can't be holding up others in passing zones. I was also surprised at the number of people who wouldn't use the short passing zones, 2-3, 3-4, 10-11, etc., both in Red and Black.

Bull:

I'm sorry you weren't 100% this weekend. That's a bummer. But you looked like you were having fun when I saw you out there (at least that's the way it looked, you could've been in mind-numbing pain for all I know).

I could've lifted I guess, but as is the case in most situations like that, many times its better to just keep on truckin, that's what I did, and I easily cleared him before we entered the esses. It didn't screw me up, and didn't seem to screw him up. So to me, it was no big deal.

I was already on his quarter, my front bumper was pretty much even with his rear wheel hub, so the pass was 1/3 of the way completed already...

I just assumed that I'd get the signal to be honest.

Brian
