Looks fantastic!! Very 'factoryesque'....and only a couple of Moths ago!!
Thanks. That was the idea. The model, obviously was the GT2 ClubSport and the PO (JJayB) had already put some very nice PMS bits on the car - aluminum hood and doors (ex-Rohr Racing), GT2 tail and gauges, etc., so it just seemed right to continue that trend. Other than a Getty splitter everything else is by Porsche or PMS. NOT exactly the cheapest way to go!

Not much. The Andial motor already has plenty of grunt and the cats/mufflers were already gone. The AC was removed during this. The car already had the right springs and Motons, GT2 bars, etc. Rick found somebody selling ex-Penske Racing RSR uprights/center lock spindles, etc., so that's how we got there. He had the GT2 Evo brakes and transmission sitting on his shelf. The man's like a crack dealer ... in a good sort of way.
I finally got my car 99% finished (the last 1% is never done!). The maiden voyage was the Porsche Owners Club charity event at Laguna Seca and it went pretty smoothly. The muffler and pipes are only there for this event in order to meet the 92db sound limit. I have a bunch of pics of the build that I'll put into its own thread later on...
Personally, I prefer the look of the Getty +2 front, +3 rear, bodywork. I don't like the rivet look. It is what I am using on my race car. Here is a friends car with that bodywork.
