Possibly but it said "Reserve not met" so I doubt it was sold for that..

Oops I missed that part

I just paid to have my tranny rebuilt - it was not cheap. For $15k, if the car has a good engine and tranny, I'd be tempted to buy it, keep the drivetrain and sell the rest. If my motor or tranny died I could slide that drivetrain in and run in F for a while...

BTW - what exactly is the advantage of JE pistons over the standard Mahle pistons if they have the same compression ratio? Performance? Cost? Both?

If the car couldn't be ordered without heat then yes technically it would be illegal.

There is a rule change in review right now that would allow removal of the blower motor (or backdating the heat).
