With more than 20 cars in the black run group, I was a little worried that the session would be crowded with most of the time spent in trains - not so! Everyone was very good about watching their mirrors and giving passing signals.
I thought the event was really well run and for three days it was largely incident-free. I feel badly for the M3 guy in green group that bent valves by hitting second instead of fourth during a parade lap.![EEK!](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
Although I fully support the idea of building run groups based on lap times - I think it creates some logistical problems for instructors that need time between their run group and their students.
It is not news, but it's pretty clear PCA and the Regions need to recruit and build a larger pool of instructors. The weather was not bad for this event, but in hotter days, having two students has to be difficult.
WRT the rocks on South Course, many complaints have been presented and logged. VIR Club members have on several occasions suffered cracked windshields, yet the rocks remain.
Thanks to FSR for coordinating and managing a great event!

Just cuz. I am the registrar for First Settlers, handled registration, run group assignments and instructor-student pairing, but I wasn't there due to family commitment. I know Dell, Eddie Fort, and several of the others on this thread. Most of the quotes you took from Dell were made to friends, in a mocking/sarcastic way. You apparently don't know him. The guys he was busting on do. If they had a problem, they would have handled it. Big boys, you know. I just think your tirade was out of line.

However, not sure if High Rock is going to give VIR the competition to get prices down. That is going to be a different kind of track. Great though to have another nice track in our back yard

I just wanted to say thanks from the guys here at RaceWerks, for a fun and enjoyable weekend. Steve got to run the new E-30 (with 2000 M coupe suspension, and brakes), and Dan tried his hand with the new Spec e-30 car. All went well and other than melting my right side motor mount, we came away unscathed. It was great to meet all the new guys, and see all of the old friends. We look forward to seeing all of you again soon , either at the track, or here at the shop.
Thanks again!
