GO LEH !!
It was great to see Leh back in the car. He told me that he hadn't been on-track since the accident at Mid-Ohio, so it was really cool to see him right on-pace on his 2nd practice lap on Thursday. After talking to him post-Mid-O and seeing his comments on rennlist regarding his accident, I was worried it might take awhile for him to get past lingering tentativeness. But, it was the same ol' fearless Leh as soon as he exited pit lane.

Why are all these GT cars running tube chassis except Porsche??
At Miller, the Beachman Corvette, Ferrari F430 & Playboy Nissan were also Prep 1 like the Porsche. But, yes, quite a few of the other competitors are tube frame.

Hey Leh, nice to see you in Utah. Had fun even though my comrades can't stay out of trouble on the kart track.

By the way, about the pic above. Its a Porsche, not a Ducati. The car is faster with FOUR tires on the ground.

If you need help with that, just let me know.

Your Friend,

Wolf Brown, er..... Chris Henzler, er......... oh hell whatever

That was a great race. The race ran over and my Tivo didn't get the last few laps. What a B#$@%.

I think 99 Gainsco was in the wrong regarding contact with Pruitt. Pruitt was ahead and has the right to turn in. 99 should have backed off when he had not got near the front of Pruitt's car before turn in.

A driver cannot punt a car off track to make a pass as Pruitt tried to do and deserved the penalty. If he was going to take a penalty he should have really punted him off track. It was not totally clear that the contact was intentional or just a result of over agression trying to pull out the championship. That does not mean he did not earn the penalty. Clearly he did.

Congrats to Leh and all his team mates.
I remmember the commentators saying something like, I don't know why the 85car is pushing the Pontiac so hard, they are not in the championship hunt. HELLO!!! They want to win the race for crying out loud! After all the bad luck this year and now they are so so close, of course they are going to go for the win. I can imagine Sanderson wolfing under his breath at Buckler.

Leh only has one speed (FAST!) so I knew it would be no problem.

Isn't that a distinct disadvantage for us?
You betcha it's a distinct disadvantage for Porsche. But how else can they make the racing anything other than a Porsche Parade? Personally I think they all should run unibodies and let the other manufacturers build a better car if they want to compete with Porsche.

Leh,

Know anything about the other RSR J3 has for sale?
By the way, Joe Toussaint attacked Road America with serious stones. You'd be proud.
