It did look like a carting move. Great pass, but Kimi was hurt and doesn't necessarily drive defensively.
Funny how Hamilton is mortal without Alonso's set up on the car.
Ferrari is done, even in the constructor's points, even if the Hungarian GP points are taken away from McLaren.
It's down to Alonso and Hamilton and if Hamilton doesn't get Alonso's tech set up, he's done as well.

Regardless of the technical data , in the end the driver has to get on with it, Alonso not sharing Technical feedback with Ham , means Ham is on his own determining the data in relative feedback as a driver ...
The Discourse shared between 2 drivers especially one as experienced as Alonso or say schumacher is just as valuable as the telemetry data itself ........
if not we would have a paddock full of Schumachers .....Lewis is now having no insight to the data as before , so now he has a bigger learning curve as you would expect from a rookie ...

In this series you can see Lewis using the chicane , Massa to his right , on exit , lewis uses the chicane to get into 2nd Position @ the start .....Of course he was hit by Massa, which possibly pushed him to take that course , but he gained positions none the less.....

We will never know when dealing with Ferrari on matters of car failure , I dont' believe the contact with Ham casued it as the cars take a pounding around Monza , could have been from the curb hopping ....
A pity Massa has had too many failures this year ....

Ferrari: no qualms if title won in courts
By Jonathan Noble and Michele Lostia Tuesday, September 11th 2007, 14:47 GMT
Luca di Montezemolo in the Monza paddockFerrari president Luca di Montezemolo believes that Ferrari would still be worthy champions this year even if they only triumph through rivals McLaren being punished.
Just 48 hours before McLaren face an FIA World Motor Sport Council hearing into the Formula One spy controversy, di Montezemolo has said he would have no qualms about his team only winning this year through a penalty for their main opposition.
"If the conditions for an off-track victory were met then we would deserve it, because it would have originated from the presupposition that the winners won through illegal, unsporting, and unfair means," he was quoted as saying by Gazzetta dello Sport from the Frankfurt Motorshow. "That's why it would be a deserved victory."
Although Ferrari will be involved in the new hearing, di Montezemolo has acknowledged that the ongoing controversy is not good for the sport.
"It's an issue that damages Formula One, and the least is said about it the better," he said. "It's in our interest that this ugly story ends quickly and most of all that is ends with the truth."
Ferrari are facing an uphill battle to get back on terms with McLaren in both the drivers' and constructors' championships after Fernando Alonso's victory in Italy.
And di Montezemolo admitted that the situation was now 'hard' for them.
"I felt bad about Monza, because we can't lose races for the lack of reliability," he was quoted as saying by La Stampa. "I don't like it and I hope we can do better on Sunday and that we'll get back to winning ways.
"At Monza, Massa could do a good race, but we stopped too many times this year for lack of reliability, which is instead a fundamental factor.
"Reasonably I'd say that it's very hard to win the drivers' championship, but the unpredictability of Formula One is big. Obviously the numbers are against us."
