4th & 5th Hum? Would you consider the cars to be equal to 944 Cups? None in the top three. Driver or cars?
Are 944 Spec cars PCA legal? What class would they run in?

Look at like this, there were 13 other Cup cars that finished behind them.
The Spec cars would be PCA legal in SP2 as they ran in the Nationals.

Or they could run in 944Spec trim as an "SP-1" in PCA. The two drivers at Nationals switched tires and weight between "Spec" and "Cup" run groups. Still, did very well.

Yeah,
The 5th place guy did not pick up much time on Hoosiers. In fact I think might have run a tick slower. I think it was becuase he did not get the pressure right. Point is those cars were built as 944 spec cars. The also completed in 944 spec at Nationals. They chose to "crossover" and run 944 cup to add to the fun. So the cars were 100% spec legal except for wheels/tire during the cup race. 100% spec legal during the spec race and (legal wheels and toyo's).
