I broke a valve retainer at the HVR event and bent a valve. Not sure what other damage there might be yet. Dan J. should be starting the tear down right now. It was pretty frustrating after finally getting the fuel injection system working okay and turning some personal best laps at LRP (1:02's). I think I'm going to miss the Summit race as well.

I'm going there this morning as i'm told my 930 is actually running, i'll take a peek at your car Sean. Offhand guess is you broke the rocker, smacked or holed a piston, and messed up the cylinder. You said the engine was never done, right? May as well just do a rod-bolt on out freshening to go along with the new headers, etc..

Give me a holler if you see anything. I'm afraid of my "while you're in there" tendencies. But, while it's open I might as well freshen everything up. I love the smell of Titanium in the morning.

My motor just refuses to actually blow up, forcing me to do the top end and add the headers thing it sorely needs. Maybe the October 1-2 DE will finish her off...

All the Cheeto car needs is a clutch hydraulic line to get her out for testing so I may just be trying her out in Oct at LRP.. your car, better not sign up for anything until the Road Atlanta race next year!
