Anyone try Hoosier 275/35/15 tires?
I see that Hoosier has a new P275/35ZR15 size, only 23" tall!
Could be fun on the back of an early 911 with 9 x 15. Like a short R & P...
Anyone tried them yet?

Factory 15 x 9 fuchs are rare and expensive. Many people can make a set up for you from 15 x 6's. There are some good repops being made as well. There are also quite a few after market chioces, BBS's Gotti's etc.

Yeah, doesn't look very likely.
Not sure what size that tire is, but believe that the new tire tread might be as wide as your existing sidewall, but then again shorter, too.
Might be worth a try.

But these are WIDE, 10" tread width as opposed to the 245/45s seen above which are 8.5" wide. But the 245s are 24" tall, these are 23" so 1/2 shorter... will have to do some testing.

These are like the RSR wheels, only 2 or 3mm offset, really stick out... but they look great as they make the car W I D E !
I might have an extra set of the 9s (no matching 8s, I was using Fuchs 8s on the front)

What other options are there? I can see getting some custom Kodiaks or Jongbloed. It's hard to try and find these in 8/9.
I've seen some people using 15" on the front and 16" on the rear of a 911. What is the advantage to this? Better braking efficiency?

There are lots of cheap 15" autocross wheels you can have custom made, but not sure I would use them on the track. Jongbloed are expensive and they ask for too much info to build the wheels.
I use 15x8 front and 16x9 rear so I can use stock Fuchs wheels and get the most tire under the car, with the lowest ride height. 17s or 18s would be faster, will upgrade if needed.
