OT: Best restaurant near Watkins Glen?

My own thoughts after 4 days there in past few weeks:
Castle Grisch: No reason to go back
Red Newt: Good music, great view, their beers are better than their wines and you don't go there for the food.
Seneca: Everyone you know is there, food is decent, and a great bar
Jerlando's: Friendly, neighborhood Italian restaurant and price is right.
Glenora: Would be better if they served martini's
The Station: Great view, decent bar, decent food
Blue ribbon diner: At least they're open at 6:00 AM for breakfast
When they finish the new hotel (motel?) at the waterfront, maybe they will have a good restaurant.

After running the Glen for 12 years:
Glenn Motor Inn - good fun if you can get past the smell
Mr Chicken - good food. Even a human needs a lube job
Wildflower - close, nice, probably the best bet for lunch
Senaca - nostalgic; cool bar, eatable food
Stone Cat - simply magic

The Station is the restaurant at the end of town, right on the lake by the miniature golf course. For lunch, I don't think you can beat the sandwich shop called "Mountain something......"/really good sandwiches and soups.
Where is the Stone Cat?

I have always had good food there, and they frequently have live music. They also have beautiful weeping willows out back that provide shade and sound for their balcony. Eating outside is always a treat there.

"Hey, Geneva On The Lake: your proctologist called....he says he found your head."
Pretty uptight place with a deservedly low/moderate reputation....food's just not that good nor is the service....the price is very high for average food.
If you're going to Geneva, try the Belhurst Castle. Good Italian at Nonna's Tratoria downtown.

Re food and DE events.
I am usually too tired at the end of the day to care a whole lot about terrific food versus good food. I'm just happy to find a place that doesn't frown on us over-enthusiastic drivers that can't stop bench racing.

Can't swing a dead cat in Geneva without hitting a Dago. Good Italian eats all over town.
Back to Watkins Glen - restaurant at the tip of the lake, right next to 'Cap'n Bills' = Seneca Harbor Station. Food = meh. Down Fourth St. a few blocks east of Franklin - "Bianco's Daughters" - decent Italian...but I prefer the puttanesca at Jerlando's if it's still on the menu.
Hey...it's a small town in the sticks...no place has a Michelin star, much less several. Get over it.
Let's get down to business:
Best donuts: Tobe's, on Fourth St., right off Franklin (the main drag). Open early...it's a bakery....duh...
Best beer: The brew-pub thingy at the Wildflower - Roosterfish "Double IPA" is pretty drinkable, if you like craft-brewed, somewhat stiff IPA's.
If you guys start yapping about valet parking and extensive wine lists, I'm gonna puke.

Where is the blue ribbon diner? Is that the favorite for an early breakfast?
For me, the best beer is at the Seneca Lodge Bar. Bret makes a nice cloverleaf on the head of the Guiness and does the real 3-minute pour.

Jerlandos is good for dinner. Mr. Chicken for lunch. Their fresh pies are very good if you like desert. The seafood place by the harbor was good as well, though I can't remember the name.
