Anyone attend MotoGP at Laguna Seca?
That was me driving the Mazda CX-7 Safety Car on Sunday. Got a call at 10pm on Saturday night with a request to drive a pace car. Spent about 30 minutes doing high speed laps with VIP guests and then paced the Yamaha Parade of Champions shortly before the main event. There were 4 Mazda pace cars in total.
Great group of people at L-S made the event run very smoothly. Always fun circulating that track with passengers. The Mazda CX-7 was lowered, with 14" full floater Brembo's, a full IMSA/SCCA legal roll cage and 5-point Willans harnesses. Good fun and a really good organization.
Track was re-paved and repainted just a few days ago and it was magnificent!
