Default GX2 Installation Locations

I just bought a Racepak GX2. I am just curious how others who have bought this unit have mounted their displays, box, and the GPS unit...doing a search I found lots of discussion on it but not very much about installation ideas. any pics?

Thanks,

Don

I mounted the main unit on the floor behind the passenger seat. The gps antenna, is up on the rear shelf. I stuck the display over my existing tach using double stick tape.

I mounted the main unit in the front "trunk" area. The antenna comes out the center rear of the lid and sticks without tape at 130+ MPH. I found a hole in the firewall wall that the cable for the dash fit thru. The main unit must be flat, pointed in the correct direction and have access to the data card.

i put the main unit where the radio went and made a face plate that covered the gap. i then mounted the display to the face plate.

Interesting...defintiely something to think about...it seems there is no one universal way of doing it that has a hands down concensus. I want it to be accessible but also not in the way...thanks for the ideas! I imagine my final install will look like a little bit from everyone.
