Great little track. Easy to learn, surprisingly difficult to really execute well. Several deceiving turns, especially the last one when lapping clock-wise.

Who's hosting? Did you have to get flaggers? Is this also known as Little Taladega? How many total cars at event?

cut off is twelve cars w/ three on track at any time. no forcible passing; passing is allowed on front and back straights w/ wave-by. it's a private event that i'm hosting. we basically rented the track for the day. some DE is available for newbies should they so desire.

only one flagger required since we're only three cars on track at a time (plus you can see 95% of the track from anywhere on it).

geo - they have expanded the track, so that turn is now different. the whole thing drives MUCH faster now (and is easier on tires). i posted some data acquisition and photos from my last day out there on trackpedia.com for those intereste.

So, four run groups. 25-30 min sessions? 8-5? How far, time wise, is it from 85 and 285? If you know?

I have driven the track twice but not since the paving and changes. If I wasn't doing Barber next weekend I would jump on it. I will try to catch the next one.

from 85 / 285 it's about an hour and a half. there's also a time change going into alabama that makes it easier on us (saves an hour). some of us meet at a Shoney's off I-20 at 6AM or so for some breakfast before hand. some just meet us at the track.

David - a MAYBE? we have lots of those! PM me your email address and i'll add you to my mailing list. we do this frequently.

Hey Kevin, that you? Sorry I haven't emailed you back yet; I've been swamped with school (12-14 hours/day). I won't be able to make it to any days during the summer, but I might be able to go in the fall. I'll get back to you later in the summer.
