Qualifying for Indy is a challenge unto itself, and I will say again that very few of us woudl even try it.
This year AJ Foyt III, Jon Herb, and Milka were all paying their own way (or grampa was). Give her a break. To do this at her age, you really need to want to do it.
Again, I think very few of us would have the ***** to try Indy qualifying, and even fewer would have the skill to succeed.
I didn't see the race, so I don't know what caused her retirement. AS

Only one person bumped this year.

qualifying ain't what it used to be.

Does she remind anyone else of Rachel Ray?

Yeah, I wonder. Put us in sports cars and I'll take on AJ Foyt IV any day.

She put it in the wall before the half way point. Came up on slower moving traffic, looked like she braked and the tail went high, then she corrected and shot up to the wall

Not only would I not make a run at Indy at this point in my life, I wouldn't be expected at any minute to throw my arms in the air, shimmy, and say "Coochi - Coochi"!

That is the truth. Milka is hot, cute, bubbly, loves the same stuff we love...driving fast cars so she can't be all that bad. I'd love to hang out with her and pick her brain on racing.

The thing is she is doing it and all we are doing is typeing about it!

No Drums, we're doing it, we're just not spending as much to do it.

And I seriously doubt she is having any more fun than we aredoing it.

Money is the main component, regardless of the series. Having said that, if one has the cash you too will jump into a car you may not be able to pilot. This is a major GARRA issue. Some do ok but are meer backmarkers but they conduct their race in a safe and risk free way, others bite off more than they know how to. Milka is one of those who has not figured out how to bring the car back in one piece/color. K Legge does ok but crashes half as much as Milka as does the other gal in Indy...???. She hangs in there but also is careful. Milka gets a brain fart in the heat of the battle and inevitibly bends a fender one way or another. I see Milka as a driver with potential but her money has elevated her beyond her ability at this time. She just needs some seat time and some better planning of her race plan( game plan). In addition her money keeps her flexible so she drives in every series she can hand cash to. This is great for getting seat time but to get it right she needs to pick a series and remain there then move on/up. A half dozen races in one car is not enough time to have it "down pat".

And she is not that hot! Very nice and respectful but not all that hot, very asymetrical. Just my 2 cents.

But let us not get into the who has cash thing because if you had it you would use it too. I see PO's buying a 3 hundred dollar steering wheel then negotiate a timing belt!....umm yes you will spend it to get a seat!

Ya know? At the end of the day professional racing is simple a 'Business' period. The private teams operate (try to anyway) as for profit corporations. Someone who has money can buy their product. Selling to the 'right' buyer also generates advertising $$. Profits tend to increase. Buzz is generated. Message board threads get 60+ posts, etc.
No doubt, so so drivers lower the overall quality of the sport from a 'Driving' perspective. Still, we can't dismiss the add value Coochi-Coochi brings to the table.

This particular driver has been generously endowed with substancial downforce generating curves and enough HP to earn four advanced degrees. For this aficionado, the thought of that combination gets my spark plugs firing in all cylinders.
