Dude, there is one of everything there. I have spent maybe 10days at the Ring and I am still counting cars I have never seen again from trip's digital photo album.

Anyone interested in a trip this year? I have 3 drovers with full course experience and could coach anyone around the entire circuit.

Does it ever NOT rain there?

Simply, no. One of the emergency personnel that taught our safety course there would always tell us: " If you cannot see ze tower of ze castle, it is raining at ze ring some ver. If you can see ze tower, it going to rain soon." I think he has said this to me at least a dozen times.

Be careful in Hatzenbach, Fuchshrore, exmuhle and of course eiscurve in the rain.

Haa, ha, that's funny , the best rain tire i have ever driven on was a german tire called Semperit , does anyone know if this manufacture is still in business , if so is the tire still any good...

there's a part II up now, with CG's final thoughts (no, he didn't die in a ball of flame )

He rented a car from RentRacecar. He said it was set up perfectly for the ring as you might expect. It has Hankook rain tires (?)
