Default Can anyone recommend a good way to install my Throttle and Steering Sensors?

Here is my throttle sensor: http://www.race-technology.com/throt...y_10_1426.html

I would like to install it on my n/a '84 944. Do you have any good tips/pictures on the best way to install on my throttle cam?

(the pictures does not show my throttle cam, but the portion above the cam looks similar).

Similarly, do you have any good advice on how to install a steering position sensor (string pot sensor) to the steering column of a 944? Here is my steering position sensor: http://www.race-technology.com/strin...g_10_1417.html

Thanks in advance.

Todd - I would PM Geoffrey if he misses this post, and I believe he has answered a similar question before.. maybe do a search on him in the meantime.

Thanks Gary. Do you happen to remember Geoffrey's screen name? I always remember his avatar . . .

I look forward to seeing you at the Watkins Glen Club Race . . .

Yeah, I am feeling a little guilty about relying on the good faith of friends lately, so I am hesitant to ask.

I would like to get these fabbed up before the Watkins Glen club race because I plan to ask a much better driver than me to "drove my car" and I want to see the inputs directly rather than indirectly through speed and lat/long gs . . .

Let's touch base.

Geoffrey posted pics of his install of the steering pot and the shock sensors a couple months ago. He has a MoTeC system and the sensors looked a bit different than yours (IIRC) but I also think his posts might help (or a call, he does it as his day job).
